Product Introduction:
KERUN® KR9988 is a water-soluble quenching medium with similar cooling performance to oil and no inverse solubility. The faster high-temperature cooling rate can ensure the uniformity of the quenching hardness and the depth of the quenching layer of the workpiece. The lower low-temperature cooling rate can effectively control the deformation of the workpiece and reduce the risk of cracking.
It is widely used in the quenching of various spring steel, alloy steel, tool steel, martensitic stainless steel or the whole quenching of large workpieces, gas cylinder and so on. Because it has no inverse solubility, the cooling rate of quench medium can be adjusted by increasing the temperature of quench medium, which makes the medium a wider application.
